Awesome Doc for Breast Implants and Labiaplasty - Cleveland, OH

I've always wanted a labiaplasty since I was 15 years old and I have never been happy with my chest size either. I was a full A or small B and never quite filled out my bras. A couple of months ago I had a breast augmentation and labiaplasty by Dr. Medalie. He is awesome and I am so happy that I had my surgery by him. He was the third plastic surgeon that I initially saw. The first two I saw were primarily for breast augmentation, though I did ask about labiaplasty. I got reasonable information from each doctor about augmentation and was shown options for implants and patient pictures. It is hard to describe, but I felt that both of them were rushing a bit through the consultation and had a fixed idea in their minds about what I needed. I think I would have probably still gone with one of them (because they were recommended by friends), but when I asked about labiaplasty, I got the feeling that neither of them had done very many labiaplasties. They both said that they could do it but neither one offered to show me patient photos, and when I asked one to show me some before and afters, he stated that patient confidentiality prevented him from showing me. I am not sure I understand why because he did show me some before and after photos of breast implant patients. Anyway I went online and started researching plastic surgeons who did labiaplasty and breast enhancement and Dr. Medalie’s name popped up at the top. He has a really great website with a very artistic design with lots of pictures and excellent credentials. When I met him, the consultation was just awesome. He spent much more time with me than the other surgeons and showed me tons of patient photos. I really felt comfortable with him and that he was listening to what I wanted. It was also clear that he had done many more labiaplasties than the other surgeons that I talked to, and he was so confident and clear about the best procedure for me that I felt a lot less nervous about having an operation on such a sensitive area. I was pretty nervous the day of surgery and Dr. Medalie met me before the operation and clamed me down again with that easy going manner. The pain after the operation wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting and the labiaplasty was literally a piece of cake. It was the best decision I ever made (I had wanted it since I was 15 years old). I also love my new breasts, though in retrospect maybe I could have gone a little bit bigger. To be fair he did mention that most patients prefer to go a little larger then smaller and I was a little scared of getting that unnatural look. I have 300 cc saline implants in now and was thinking that maybe in a couple of years I’ll go a little larger and change to silicone

I'm a physician that specializes in the care of transgender people. I have seen hundreds of top surgery results over the years. Maybe even 1,000.

Dr. Medalie routinely produces the best results I see on any of my patients that get top surgery done. The worst outcome top surgery I have ever seen done by him was a 9/10. The best I've seen done locally in michigan I'd call an 8/10. Literally, the worst results I've seen on anyone done by this guy are better than the best results done by everyone else. Some of these patients come back and you can't even tell that they ever had top surgery done. I don't even know how he does the micro suturing or whatever it is that he does to not leave the telltale 1/2cm thick double incision scar lines but the results are amazing.

I have never talked to Dr. Medalie personally. I don't know him personally in any capacity or have any vested interest in his clinic or his success. This is my real honest opinion after eight years of treating transgender patients and seeing the results of the work of many surgeons.

Unequivocally he is my top recommendation for top surgery. It's not even close.

Breast reduction, lower abdominoplasty & lipo - incisions & scars look great

Dr. Medalie is a fantastic surgeon. The care I received was wonderful and my results are beautiful. I had a breast reduction, lower abdominoplasty, and liposuction. The incisions and scars look great, and I had very little bruising. I am very happy to have chosen Dr. Medalie.

Mtf breast augmentation 375cc

While I grew impatient I decided I wanted to get my boobs done. I had Dr. Medalie and he was fantastic!! His staff as well were completely comforting, nice, and awesome!! I've really wanted originally to be a full c or d or even dd cups. He suggested 425-450cc to achieve a c cup with my current 38a cup size. 5'10 180lbs. But since I was afraid it wouldn't be good for my work I decided to get 375cc. Which turned out to be perfect and they look amazing!!! Currently at a 38b for lace bras and 36c for push up. But now I wanna just max out my CCs. Don't be afraid to go with the Drs advice! He suggests now I could max out at 500cc-520cc. Wishing I could do more ten that but my chest might be too tight to go any bigger. Overall he's perfect and awesome and so is the staff Updated on 29 Dec 2021

This is long overdue but incredibly well-deserved. Dr. Medalie has literally changed my life. I had a mommy-makeover, with the biggest area of concern being my stomach. After two c-sections, no amount of dieting or exercise would get rid of my mom-belly. I am now 11 months in and my stomach is completely flat. Flat like it was when I was 20 and in the best shape of my life.

Trust the process, I am 11 months post-op and I can’t believe this is me again. It takes time for your body to heal and you don't initially see full results but then one day you are back to a new normal!

I had double incision top surgery with Dr. Daniel Medalie in 2020 and I can not express how happy I am with my results and the whole experience. This man has changed my life, I could not be happier. The scars look great, the nipple size and placement is near perfect, a pretty easy recovery too. His nurse and all of his staff were super kind and nice to work with, also very knowledgable and helpful. Dr. Medalie has some of the best results I've personally seen compared to other surgeons for top surgery. If possible, it is so worth paying out of pocket. I consulted with a different surgeon prior to Dr. Medalie (because of financial reasons) and I was not at all comfortable leaving that consultation. After having a consultation with Dr. Medalie, he made me feel very comfortable and was honest. At the time I'm writing this, I'm just over 4 years post-op and can not thank him and his team enough for making such a scary and important thing as easy and smooth as it could have been. And most important, making me feel more at home in my body, I can finally look in the mirror and smile.

I got top surgery (peri) with Dr medalie in 2017. I could NOT have found a better surgeon/team to work with. From the first consult call to surgery to getting my tubes removed, they continued to be extremely supportive uplifting and helpful during the process. If you’re scared of cold medical staff you WONT find that here! My results were 11/10 when it came to the surgery outcome itself. There’s nothing I would change about the surgery outcome/ experience. ZERO scarring and PERFECT looking chest. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. My only recommendation is LISTEN TO DR. MEDALIE ABOUT POST OP CARE. He knows what he’s talking about. I have zero scarring and my chest looks great, but unfortunately I lost a bit of feeling due to me getting over excited and going to the gym waaaay before he recommended (100% my own fault) over time I have regained most of it back but it did take a second. Overall I would recommend Dr. Medalie to anyone looking for the perfect surgery experience/ outcome and I couldn’t thank him and his team enough

5 years ago I had a total overhaul lol. Mommy make over with the Brazilian butt lift and my implants that I had for 27 years were being replaced with new ones there was nothing wrong with them just wanted an update. Everything turned out great just like he said with recovery time and everything, and then early November I got knocked down by my dog on a walk and noticed the next day something was wrong with my left breast. After seeing the doctor he told me yep it had ruptured and they were under warranty. Suggestion though to anyone getting implants take the extended warranty cuz then you don't have to worry about any cost with replacing the implant was 100% covered. But it wasn't of arm and a leg to get it replaced and I was very nervous that it wasn't going to look like it's sister right next door, but it does it looks great very minimal recovery on that I went back to work 3 days later everybody is so nice there and I'm very blessed to have chosen this doctor in his staff

Dr. Medalie performed gynecomastia surgery on me after a lot of weight loss left me with a few problem areas that I just couldn't seem to lose no matter how hard I dieted or exercised. In addition to stubborn pockets of fat around my chest and upper back that Dr. Medalie lipoed, there was also a lot of loose skin which needed to be removed. I am currently about six months post surgery and am very happy with the work I had done. In addition, his staff is very friendly and accommodating. Eventually I will be back to see him to address the loose skin on my belly. I highly recommend Dr. Medalie.

Making the appointment with his secretary was extremely easy and quick. Dealing with everything was very detailed as to what I needed to do and who I needed to pay. The day of surgery was also very, very easy. Dr. Medalie was amazing. Very nice. After the surgery, the recovery wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting and his Nurse, Mary, was equally amazing. Any question I had about my recovery, no matter when I emailed her she would email back within a few hours, a lot of times, even quicker. Since she's who I dealt with the most during recovery, I can't say enough about her. Overall, my results and experience with these people was great and I would highly recommend them.

Highly Recommend for Labiaplasty/clitoral Hood Reduction

 had a very positive experience with Dr. Medalie for labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction. I’ve been wanting to have this surgery done for a while now and finally went through with it the past October (four months ago). My first appointment was just a consult where the doctor examined the area and made his recommendations on what needed done. He was very personable and took the time to explain everything. He showed me photos of examples and was very thorough with his explanations. I booked my procedure and it went very smoothly. The nurse that was with me was wonderful. Held my hand during the injections, down to earth and made me relaxed/comfortable. I only needed the harder pain meds the night of the surgery but switched to OTC by the next day. I’ll admit that I was very swollen/uncomfortable/painful. But by the 7th day I really saw a turnaround. I tried to lay flat as much as possible during recovery. I had the surgery done Thursday and laid in bed as much as possible for the long weekend. I worked the following week about 4-5 hours a day. It was just hard to sit in the chair all day so I stood mostly. One thing I found that I didn’t have was the “itching” that patients complain about a few weeks after surgery. The one thing I can only think of was that I shaved down there before surgery and didn’t shave again at all during recovery. I feel like maybe shaving could cause the hair to be sharper when it’s growing out and might add to the itching/irritation. That’s just my speculation so I’m not positive! Overall, I recommend going through with the procedure if it’s been on your mind. Absolutely changed my confidence and overall self image. Wish I did it sooner. I don’t have a boyfriend so I haven’t tried sexual intercourse yet. Therefore, I can’t speak much on how it feels. Everything looks great after four months of recovery so I highly recommend Dr. Medalie for labiaplasty/clitoral hood reduction!

Amazing Surgeon

Dr Medalie is amazing! I had abdominalplasty with him in 2016 and it was the best money I’ve ever spent! I can’t stress enough how great of a job he did! I compare my results to others who had the same surgery with different doctors, for a higher price and thank god I chose him! Going back to him soon hopefully for another procedure and I’m confident the results will be excellent, just like my previous procedure! His bedside manor is superb, he’s extremely thorough, honest and informative! Doesn’t rush you, which is very important! Great person, fantastic surgeon! He deserves 10 stars :)

In my Sixties and Still Wanted to Have Great Sex Before I Got Too Old to Even Care. - Cleveland, Ohio

I had two natural births that required many stitches because my children were big boys, actually only the last one. I felt very big when it was time to have sex again but my then husband didn't care because he had a large penis 20 years later we divorced and I began dating again and of course had sex. The men after that were smaller and I felt self conscious. Being in my sixties now I wasn't willing to have my final experiences be less than it could be so I decided on vaginaplasty. And wow, I'm smaller now than before I had sex! There is pain now, but it's because I don't have sex regularly to get passed that. Because my vagina is so tight, my boyfriend comes much faster which is good because often he wouldn't climax at all or took forever! I'm happy I had it done and would do it again. I no longer stress about how my experiences will be. It's really nice to hear the comments about having an amazingly tight vagina and how it was like having sex for the first time, but in the best way. Updated on 29 Mar 2015: I forgot to mention the healing process was almost painless. Was truly surprised with that. However, the first time I had sex after the surgery was very painful and I bled a lot. That was 7 weeks out. So, I decided to give it a couple more months for the incisions to be totally healed. I think part of the problem was the boyfriend didn't go slow. He just jumped in without being patient. And I was 2.5 fingers. So happy I didn't go smaller like I hear some of the women on here would like. Yikes!!!
